在US生活一定要有驾照吗

是不是在美国生活没有驾照会很难生存？一定要学会开车？

大城市公共交通发达的地方，没车问题不大。
在小地方或者远郊，没有车比较不方便。
很多人第一年都没有车，第二年才买。

If your school is in big metropolitans like NYC, you can do without a car. But if you study at Los Angeles, life would be much harder if you do not have a car or cannot drive. However some people manage to have no car for the first couple of months into MBA study. One thing to remember, having a car in US is a life necessity, nothing to do with luxury. It is pretty affordable to have a car, in fact you can have a car with a budget ranging from $3K to $50$. One of my classmates got her BMW at $40K+ and another just $2.5K.

除了那几个顶级大城市（其实说白了就纽约），都需要车，包括芝加哥，LA在内。

如果活动范围只在学校附近基本也可以对付，或者偶尔蹭车

建议还是买车，去哪都方便。而且这边二手车也很便宜，相对国内来说。驾照稍微难考一些，但是还是好过的。有了驾照也相当于有了ID，很多事都会方便很多。

買車看個人~駕照最好弄一張...考個learner's permit也好...畢竟駕照上有地址,申請各式文件的時候比較方便,搭國內線可以代替護照!
