面对面交流比其他任何方式都好,同意与否?Face-to-face communication is better than other types of communication, such as letters, email, or telephone calls. Recently,a discussion that whether or not face-to-face communication is the best type of communication(for people to communicate) has been brought to public attention. Some people opposing to the idea, argue that it is not convenient for people who are in different cities or countries to deal with each other. While other people, advocators of the view, believe that shortcomings can be neglected when the beneficial aspects (of it) are taken into deliberation. As I perceive the problem, I feel agreement with the latter, because face-to-face communication is the most efficient type to communicate(change ideas) with other people and consequently leads to the successful solution of problems, as well as it can help to improve one's social skills. In the first place,as everyone may find,face-to-face communication helps people to solve their concerns efficiently, since this kind of negociation is the most direct way to communicate with others when we have some questions to ask or need help.Wonderful though the desirable aspects that other types of communication, such as letters, email, and telephone calls are, they can not compare with the merits that face-to-face communication brings about, when the universal truth mentioned above is taken into account. As can be seen in the latest satistics released by scitiencts, 75 percent of white collars ,volunteers of the survey, commited that face-to-face communication contributes much to the improvement of their work efficiency because instead of spending a lot of time on waiting the email or call,by communication face to face they save a lot of time to handle urgent work. Effortlessly to substantiate, due to face-to-face communication, they all achieved mass success in the working field. Therefore, only through face-to-face communication,do people enjoy the advantages of high working efficiency this kind of communication results in. Another virtues, as a matter of fact, pelple can gain from face-to-face communication is that they have more opportunities to talk with colleges, and consequently enhance their tactful social skills and boarden their network which play a crucial role in their career life. The effect of face-to-face communication is strengthened by the favorable points that it enjoys. For instance,my friend Jacky was used to being all day on MSN and hotmail, the only way he communicated with others, and thus he lost many opportunities to improve his social skills. Now, owing to his new job which orders him to change ideas with others face to face, he improves his capability of communicating and makes more friends . In consequence now he becomes a successful human resources manager in a top500 cooperation. Therefore, when people doubt the effect of face-to-face communication, isn't it necessary that they should give more attention to the improvement of tactful social skills and their wider networks that it brings along? Considerable though the positive respects that face-to-face communication secures are, people should never ignore the valuable points that other types of communication lead to. Firstly, due to the globalization, the employees of the same company who needs information from each other may widespread in diffierent countries.Rather than face-to-face communication, other types of communication based on computers and interenet do help them communicate more conveniently and reduce communication costs. Secondly, under no circumstances does face-to-face communication necessarily suit everyone. It would be more beneficial that people use other types of communication if they are embarrassed to meet directly. Obviously, all the analysis warrants the unshakable consequence: though face-to-face communication may have drawbacks in some aspects, most impacts exerted by it are desirable and beneficial. Of course,we should pay more attention to advance our communication skills, such as the speaking pattern, to make it comfortable for other people to talk with us. 请大家批评指正!谢谢!! |
