[102]Should school ask students to evaluate their teachers? Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. Teaching and learning are the most tow important parts in education. The students have their right to evaluate their teachers and it must benefit both the student and their teachers, even the school. It will give their teachers more information about the class, provide some weak teacher from teaching in the future and make student study hard. Evaluating teachers by their students is a perfect means for teachers to get information about their teaching. For example, school could design some forms for students to score their teachers’ abilities, like if the teacher PPT well performed his/her topic or if the lecture given by the teacher is well organized. In this way, the teachers could get more information about their teaching and know how to perform better in future. Some of the teachers in university today don’t concentrate on their class, especially some professors. They always late for class or answer telephone on class. Some of them also do nothing to prepare their lessons but reading textbooks word by work on the class. I think these kinds of teacher should be forbidden to teach students in the future. Therefore, evaluating is a good way for school leaders to know this kind of situation about these teachers and improve the teaching quality of the school, which will bring more benefit to both students and school. Moreover, evaluating teachers will also make students study harder than before. For all student should score their teacher in end of the semester, they must study hard and listen to the teacher carefully to give the teacher a fair score in the end. I think it is the students’ responsibility to score their teacher after they really follow the teacher’s requirement and finish their homework signed by the teacher. |
