Learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present. Do you agree or disagree?
I’m fully agree with the standpoint given. Speaking of history, the only two aspects can be remember is victory and failure. So I decided to state my reasons on these two aspects. Being addicted in old-day victory does nothing helpful today. I always think that my history teacher is a woman living in the past time. She loves boasting about the most prosperous dynasty in China, Tang, in an astonishingly proud tone sounds like she was the Emperreis of Tang Dynasty. Undoubtedly, it was a booming time of China and China was on the peak of the whole world. But does that represent now? The answer’s always negative. Whatever how booming China used to be, the recent thing to do is to draw back our focus on development. Or victory will be ever or never. Failure is like a swamp. Slipping inside once is enough, the only thing to do is to strike away farther the better. It’s of the same reason as animal protection. Some animals extinct in the past few years due to pollution. So what should be taken action is not the investigation on how to reborn the extinct animals by gene method or whatever, but how to preserve the rest of the species and deal with environmental problems. If we think about the failure over and over, the only thing left behind will be regret and desperation. That makes it easier to commit one another failure. History forms our past which cannot be forgotten. But we are forming our future and virtually history won’t be reformed. 语法错误很多俄貌似。。。平时讲话太随便了~~~ 麻烦大家点评一下吧。。。。多谢! |
