请教高人指点，NYU Vs Duke，现在我是否应该等待...

我正常收到了Duke的offer，两年$5000merit-scholarship，虽然不多我也知足了，毕竟学校很好。可问题是眼看Duke的decision dealine 4月2号就要到期了（是对方收到的日期），Chicago要等到3月28日才release结果，NYU的面试结果也要等待一两周才能给我，本来以为已无希望的Columbia round2昨天居然通知我面试。我真的不知道该怎么办好了。

The point is if I make my decision to confirm my admission to Duke, I will not change it, for my own credit as well as for those of the prospective Chinese students. But I am really not ready to make a decision at this point of time, while I could not get any of the news from other schools. I do think I should at least have a choice among them. Frankly speaking, all schools are good ones. But as I have never had any overseas experiences, even if I can get admitted to all schools, I really do not know which one to take. Is there anybody here would like to give me some suggestions? I really need your help. And it's better to be quick ones. Thanks really much!!!

congratulations! It's good to have these issues to worry about.  You said you are not ready to make a decision at this point, then go with it.  Columbia doesn't interview a lot of candidates.  The fact that all these top schools are interested in you says a lot about your strength.   

Find out the decision of Chicago first.  If you get in Chicago, give the Duke scholarship to someone else and wait for Columbia.  If Chicago says no, contact Duke directly and figure out a way to accept it.  I don't know about Duke, but usually schools will somewhat accommodate strong candidates.  It's not highly unusual for people to defer admissions for a year, not to say accept the admission/scholarship 5 days before the deadline.  If you accepts Duke but get in Columbia later, that's a tough call.  But it's not something you need to worry about now.   

If you like new york, you can try to do an internship there.  I'm sure lots of Duke graduates are in the city.

I guess I will take your advice to first wait for Chicago. But meanwhile I will also prepare for my deposit to Duke, to make a compensation before it's too late if ever I couldn't get admitted to Chicago. If lucky enough that I could go into Chicago, then I can wait for Columbia (and NYU). I will pray to God for the best decision of mine.

Depends on what's ur future career goal and what kind of life you want to live with!

I guess you must be in finance track, although Duke is not bad in finance, considering NYU's premium location, it won't be a bad choice to give up D.

Another thing is whether you want to lead a country life or want to live again in metropolis.
