           Would you prefer to work for a large company or a small company?

As the human civilization enters the Industrial Age, more and more companies grow increasingly large.  Many people prefer to work in a big company like Microsoft Corporation, but others prefer to work in a small company because they think they can enjoy an easy life.  In my opinion, working in a big company shows more advantages than working in a small company does because we can earn a perfect income and be provided a great deal of opportunities to study.

In the modern society, the cost of living is higher than before, so everyone needs to work harder to cover all of their daily expenses.  A big company usually provides a great benefit for those who work hard like free vacations.  Working in a big company can also provide us a perfect income.  If we can economize, soon we will buy a new car or house. The promotion in the company is also an important part.  As time goes on, we might be promoted from a worker to a manager; after we become managers, we will get our salaries increased and enjoy free vacations and bonus.  In short, if we work hard in a big corporation, the benefits will be unimaginably many.

Working in a big company can also provide a great deal of opportunities to study.  First, we can learn about the way of the modern management, like business management, economic management, and resource management.  Indeed, we can learn those in school, but I do not think it is an efficient way to study because we can only know how to work it but we do not have enough experience to manage it.  Therefore, the most efficient way to do it is to work in the shop for a year or two, so that we could accumulate our experiences. Second, by working in an efficiently operated large institution, we will meet various experts from different regions.  Through personal contact with them, we will know how they become successful and we will gather enough experiences and avoid the mistakes they made before.

However, working in a large company also negatively affects our health.  Many people work in big corporations die around 60 years old, because they have to consider many things and often suffer from insomnia; if they do not get enough sleep, it will slow down their metabolism. On the other hand, working in a big corporation also needs to worry about company operation because if the company is declining, they will be jobless.  Working in a big company will also needs to think about the personal behavior because if someone show a bad behavior in front of the boss, he may get fired or demotion. In a word, working in big operation is also dangerous and hard.

     In conclusion, working in a big company can provide us opportunities to learn and perfect salary, but if we work too hard, it was also dangerous to our life, so I sincerely wish that we could have more time on entertainment and less time on work.
