呵呵，OG的意思是：

1，have the capability to在用法上一般指人有能力，这里的IT指代的是THE MUSEUM。再说，即使要用，也要用have the capability of (doing), 所以AWKWARD。

2，have the capability to在意思上和CAN相同，但比CAN长了N多，所以WORDY。

3，这个结构是个并列分句，前面用了have the capability to后半分句中的CAN结构上也可省略，所以WORDY AGAIN。

e.g. he has the capability to speak four languages. 字典上找到的例子！

的for 改为 “of”的话  ，d可否算正确？

我觉得改成of的话，D选项也不好。因为题目的意思是说survival建立在是否有能力扩增它的membership，但是D选项的意思是survival建立在其扩增membership的能力上（即暗示肯定有能力，只是能力的大小问题），因此改变了本来的意思。
