AWA 6/6 - Canada

I received my AWA score last week and got 6 out of 6 - couldn't believe my eyes!

I usually get 4/6 on similar exams so my score shows that everybody can get a very good mark on the essay section if 你做好准备。

我总共用了2天时间钻研作文部份。余下一有时间就背模版跟练习写作。

最有用的资料 - 新黄金80题， 800SCORE作文指导

Day 1- 参照例文，然后derive 出自己的模版。 一定要是自己的版本。那些太难太复杂的模版就不要用。否则连自己都confused了，又怎能写好的思路清晰的文章呢。从考题中抽两题来做，套用自己的模版。然后对照一下黄金80里面的例题。再从中修改模版。

Day 2 - 背逻辑7宗罪。Revisit the template derived from Day 1. 再抽两题来做，这次要计时。最后像Day 1那样，修改模版。

之后就一有时间就拿模版出来背一下。 多看例文和考题，想想自己会怎样写。

Tips:

1. When working on the GMATPrep software, do not skip the AWA part. Instead, write both of the essays like you will on the real exam. Make sure you leave 3 to 5 mins at the end to proofread and revise the essay. Even if you do not need time to revise the essay, some extra minutes can make you feel calm and confidient throughout the entire exam period.

2. Use you own template. Do not use those complicated ones that are created by someone else.

3. Memorize all the logical flaws and fallacy stated in the 800SCORE作文指导

4. If time allows, read through all the sample essays in the 新黄金80题

5. When writing the essay, stay calm, outline the struture, name the logical flaws and use a lot of transitional words.
