如果是平行结构的话,为什么不选d要选e阿,我绝得determined and differed有平行阿,determined and differing有平行吗

不能光看形式的平行，要注意动作的施动者是主动还是被动!

     E  我觉得是插入语，differing 表示主动语态的意思。整个句子补全了应该为：

The growth of the railroads led to the abolition of local times, determined by when the sun reached the observer’s meridian and differing from city to city, and（led） to the establishment of regional times.

local times 我不知道是单数还是复数，所以ABC， 我一个都没选择。而且，我觉得DE比较简洁。

为什么这里分词 determinated 逻辑主语不是指代GROWTH，而是 TIMES？这里有逗号啊。

为什么 C 中的过去进行式和过去时不能并列？

请帮解释一下？
