本科生，国内核心期刊的中文论文，第三作者，对申请有什么帮助吗？

如果相关专业甚至相关方向，就更有帮助。

如果和你申请的专业没什么关联，也可以证明你的科研能力。其他条件一样的基础上，有文章，总是比没有文章好。

It is really not an easy task to judge whether it is helpful or not for the complexity of admission. As the paper itself, it can to some extent demonstrate your potential to research, but frankly speaking, american professors may pay less attention to Chinese papers. Comparatively, a good paper in the American Journals (e.g, JMR, JCR) is really a good proof, but you have to know it is much more difficult than in China which will cost you several years.

According to my coopertation with american professors, I just find how responsible and devoted to the academic field. And sitting in front of the laptop to read and write the paper with the help of EBSCO and PRoQuest databases has been the work for a couple of months, all day and night. As I read their published papers, I would say you have to admire for the american's spirit of hard working. However, Chinese people tend to copy or reorganize the paper, so it is why american professors always look down upon the students as well as the Chinese academy.

And based on the differences that I have experienced, I wish that I could get a good development in the B-school in the US.
