我今天一大早头一件事就是收到Duke的拒信

今天是他们公布decision的日子

A guy gets offer. Maybe Duke uses rolling basis too.

明年因该不会re-apply to duke 了。。。

It's a guess but I believe there are three reasons why I got dinged at Duke

1.my research interests do not match the profs on the hiring committee

2.the profs that share my research interests are not taking in students or have changed their research interests

3. the profs that share my research interests are moving to other universities soon

我说：亨有名的啦！是Ivy League...Duke University

他说：Dude University?...hey man..hey dude ..拾么玩样？看来不是每间Ivy League 都是好的！
