[求助]有比较了解哥大的吗，紧急求助

我2005年11月28号考完GMAT，710，AWA只有3.5，遗憾，呜呜

我1月6号赶着把哈佛KSG的材料递了出去，又休息了一段时间过了春节，就到了今天了。

本来想1月11日递交哥大的申请，但是准备材料实在来不及了。因为准备哈佛的ksg不是MBA,所以没有办法简单的拷贝。

所以就没有赶1月11日，本来以为没有申请2006的任何机会了，但仔细看了一下，发现截止到3月1日。我想问问牛牛门，现在申请还来的及吗？

另外哥大招收的学生都应该有什么样的特色啊，针对性是否很强！

补充问一个：哥大对reapplicant有么有什么反感啊，如果万一争取不到，想争取early disicion,看行不行？

I cannot say I have better understanding of Columbia than you do but in theory you can still apply before the final deadline.  I think the problem of missing the Jan 11 deadline is that you will not be entitled to any scholarship.  but anyway the possibility of getting scholarship will be slim, at least for me.  

I don't know their attitude to reapplicant.

Columbia won't reject u just because you are reapp.

I was admitted as a reapp this year...

I think Columbia prefers app with financial background...but it is not that selective on your education background as some other schools, such as HBS.. So don't worry too much about ur GPA or undergrad school...710 is also acceptable, but it will be better if your Toefl score is higher to strengthen your profile...

p.s. my GMAT is 750 and the awa is only 3.0...

but my toefl is 287 with awa 5.5 (last year 620/4.0)

PS. the deadline of the ED class of 2006 is 12 Oct, 2005.

I guess you can only apply for RD this round, whose deadline is 1st Mar,2006.

another question: why you applied KSB of Harvard? Kennedy school? I wonder what you are pursuing? non profit?

I Like public and governmental job very much, however, comparing the cost, Now, I am confused because i need money to live,however maybe KSG will not help me for a great amount of money!
