Question about Accountiing W/E

Dear all, would you pls give me some advise for my career plan?

Backgroud: second class university undergraduate

First class university master -- Finance

Candidate of CFA Level 3.

W/E: Top oil company accounting almost 2 years. Position, analyst

Plan:

1.) Stay at present position for 1.5 years and apply for MBA

2.) Jump to top IB, to do equity research for 2 years.

Which is more useful to apply for an American top MBA?

Long term career plan is to join IB / Fund / VC

"accounting" is vague, what's your responsibility, accountant? analyst? internal audit? they are different.

btw, what's your career goal? it seems that you are interested in finance, and if it is, IB may be more promising.
