Areas of Concentration
Students have the option to specialize in one of the following concentrations: Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management, or Strategic Management/Entrepreneurship. Students do not need to declare
a concentration prior to enrollment. During the first two years, students are exposed to a variety of micro (e.g., organizational behavior/human resource management) and macro (e.g., strategic management/entrepreneurship) topics. Students must select a concentration prior to taking comprehensive exams at the end of Year 2.
Doctoral Student Placements
Our goal is to place students at peer or aspirant institutions. Our alumni have held or currently hold faculty positions at Clemson University, Iowa State University, Louisiana State University (LSU), Loyola University-Chicago, Mississippi State University, Oklahoma State University, Syracuse University, Texas Christian University (TCU), Texas Tech University, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, University of Southern Mississippi, University of Missouri, and Virginia Commonwealth University.
