A为什么不对呀？ outnumbering不可以作为动名词修饰信吗？并且E选项中which不应该就近指代Dickinson吗？

Which可以跳跃修饰，跳过一个介词短语。

然后A不对是因为"SVO，v-ing"里面v-ing是修饰主句的，需要和主句有逻辑关系，这里这个信的时间段和它outnumber之间没有必然联系。

EG：
My brother studied hard, graduating as the best student.对
My brother studied hard, eating beef every day.错
这两个句子大概是从RON的课里面copy的，不是原句，大概就这么个意思不记得啦~

嗯嗯嗯。我懂了，你讲的非常清楚。还有一个类似的问题，就是动名词是需要和主句有逻辑关系的，那如果是过去分词作修饰语呢？它是有什么要求和作用啊，就是修饰和它靠近的是吗？而不一定是修饰主句？就像这道题？选E是因为earned修饰records?

过去分词可以修饰逗号前面的名词也可以修饰主句的主语，和v-ing一样要求和主句有逻辑关联。
这道题E里面earned修饰records~
