Yale SOM does provide loans for international students. Please refer to the following information. I will talk with the school to see why they didn't put this online.
GATE Y-Loan
The Yale SOM Gate Loan is being replaced with the new GATE Y-Loan that is being sponsored by the University for all graduate students at the University. International students are eligible to borrow up to the full cost of attendance without a cosigner.
The GATE Y–Loan has a variable interest rate (currently 5.17%) that is based on the three–month trailing LIBOR plus a margin of 2.6%. There are no fees. No loan payments will have to be made during a student’s enrollment period. The GATE Y–Loan will feature a six–month grace period, a 20–year level repayment stream and no prepayment penalty. The terms of a GATE Y–Loan will be equal for all borrowers. |
