奖学金是录取后再写信要吗？

大家好，我在申请的时候发现学校网站的申请里面好像都没有提到奖学金，有的学校网站上说是admission office看情况决定发的。我想问问奖学金是不是不需要在完成application package后额外申请的？一般情况下都是录取了以后再写信去争取吗？谢谢！

大多数奖学金为merit-based，无需刻意申请（但也有例外比如Tuck），AO看你在申请人当中有多优秀、学校有多希望你去而决定的，在发offer的时候就会通知；need-based（如果有的话）则需要在录取后提交工资单、税单之类的文件来申请。

need-base基本上外国学生无缘，因为是美国政府出钱。merit based就是录取的时候学校会通知。

Good question!
For pretty much all schools, you will get the scholarship offer with the admit. Sometimes there are special scholarships that you need to apply for separately, but in most cases, everyone is considered for scholarships.
