答案选D,但我觉得后面那个repeated和前面的is时态不一致,如果是repeating或者repeats就对了

答案选B,这个倒可以理解,但解答说最后一部分是修饰前面的,想问一下这属于什么从句呢?是否省略了一些词?如果把省略的部分加上去,句子应该怎么改啊?

1.后面的repeated是过去分词作定语吧。前面的lasting是现在分词。

2.逗号后是独立主格结构,即有主语的分词结构。each of the daughter cells是独立主语，beginning是分词结构。
