No, i don't think so. McGill still needs applicants with balanced abilities. 35 means what? For Chinese applicants, most of them will get more than 49, even 50 in Maths, if verbal in 35, the total will be 710-720. That's impossible. The average score of GMAT of McGill in 2003 is 640, Range (middle 80%) is 590 - 720 . A 710-720 in GMAT is competitive for applying Rotman, Ivey, and TOP 20-30 of US if you have a not bad background in other fields.

据McGill一教授说，目前McGill的中国学生的均分已在710之上，能申请到McGill的竞争力恐怕比美国top15差不多。

hehe, maybe I am wrong. Be confident, everybody. Be a true girl or boy. A guy in CD said he got the offer of McGill with a 680 GMAT. So, I do think a balanced applicant is more attractive.

I don't think v35 is required. One of my friends who is studying in McGill has verb 28.

Mcgill 对中国人确实要求不同，我周围被Mcgil录取的都在700以上。那个考680的有北美工作经历和北美Master学位，这恐怕是他的不同之处。Mcgill之所以难申请是因为它学费底，而且如果是Quebec居民政府还有学习补贴，几乎不用花自己的钱念书。我都听说好几个同时被Rotman和Mcgill录取最后都选择了Mcgill。没办法，这里中国人太多了，大家根本就是在和中国人竞争。

Agree with braveMBA, schools won't turn you down just because of a relatively low GMAT.
