Guys, isn't that rediculous that McGill has average GMAT score of 700 among Chinese students, if not more, and the average all is only 640? It means that the average score of the other ethnics is probably only 620 or even less. I am so confused.
I kind of hesitate, although I am still far from getting an offer, when I learn the fact. If, as a lof of Chinese folks consider, the tuition is weighed so much when choosing a B-school, I would rather save a seat for somebady else who needs it desperately than go to another 'Qinghua'. I chose McGill simply because of its OK reputation in US and the chance to speak French. But I definately don't want to get involve in a vicious circle.
Since it's not easier to apply for McGill than to apply for top 15 in US, I can not see any reason why I should go for it. Given potential salary difference and overall repution of the schools, tuition is really nothing. Who cares about the extra 30, 000 bucks if you know you are going to get a job which can pay you off within only months? I just don't buy it.
