看到他在BW的排名有了大幅度的上升，有可能架子会大起来。

This year it is not Chicago alone that has the problem.
And there are tons of Chinese applicants to Chicago GSB, wich is certainly one of the traditional Top Ten business schools.

学校肯定是好学校，肯定是顶尖，肯定是难进，进去了之后90%不会后悔，别人也会很尊敬你的。但是毛病也有一点点，就是chicago的业余班学生可以中途插班变成full-time MBA正式学生，使得开学时的班级人数永远只是毕业时的班级人数的一部分。

高人高人，怎么一下子被你说中了呢？你看：Admitted applicants must furnish proof that they have adequate financial resources to cover the cost of one year of study. Alternative loans cannot be considered as a financial resource. Chicago GSB currently estimates that U.S.$60,245, exclusive of airfare, is needed to support an unmarried fulltime international student for one academic year. This amount will increase for the 2004-05 academic year. Because financial aid for international M.B.A. students is limited, applicants are urged to investigate funding sources in their home country. Many government ministries of education, employers, and banks may offer assistance in the form of grants and loans. International students may also apply for interest-bearing alternative loan programs available through private U.S. agencies. These programs require the applicant to have a U.S. Social Security number and may require a credit-worthy cosigner who is a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident residing in the U.S. Further information can be obtained from our web site or by contacting the GSB Office of Financial Aid at +1 (773) 702-3964.

第二：奖学金少了；
第三：贷款要美国cosigner了。

这下子偶真是不知道如何是好了。幸亏时间还多，偶再找找别的学校吧。

$60,245 for a yr!!!!! How come????

Will other top schools do the same????

and with the tighter and tighter visa policy and down and down economy.....

baobaobear大侠，chicago网站上现成的啊！这种信息只有本校网站上的内容才最权威最准确。架子大了，自以为全世界第二了。不过芝加哥确有傲人之处，不服也没用。

有一位商学院院长亲口说过：学费、申请费都是身价的表现（原谅偶不说出名字，因为偶不想得罪人，反正是top 10的商学院院长），此言一出，大伙都涨吧。特别是top 10的申请费，大伙儿比较比较吧。

人穷则志短，偶本来不准备申请美国以外的学校，现在已经在准备退路了。天哪，一屁股债的滋味在经济萧条的时候比破鱼胆还要苦啊！！！

they are just like other top10 students, normally they won't work for anything under 65k.

but this is about the salary they are going to get in the real world.

if you check other below average schools, their students are willing to work for 30k a year and they have very good placement rate.

So if you are determined to go to Uchicago and think salary is not that important, and "real gold will shine", then don't worry about your future job.
