Do your guys know whether NYU is generous to offer financial aids? NYU's expense is too much. It's quite difficult to study in this school without any aids. what your guys think?

欧听说（另外也似乎在NYU的网站上看到过）NYU只考虑给第一轮申请的international applicants奖学金。。

CITY gruop向每一个NYU的学生提供无担保贷款。建议楼主查查NYU的网页，上面对于financial aid有详细说明。

Loan does not help too much. We have to pay it back anyway.

Loan also does not help for your visa I guess, right?

Therefore, do you think NYU is generous to give out fellowship or scholarship?

yes ,NYU is not generous at all. Besides what it touts is downtown and down to earth,etc. but I don't think it is really down to earth as Columbia is.

Anyway, curse it for no invitation of interview and waste of my application fee

In terms of offering scholarship to Chinese students, NYU Stern is no less generous, even if not much more, than some other top b-schools. 3 out 4 first round admitted Chinese students got half tuition waiver (worth $17,000 per annum) last year.
