确实，自己想好要做什么最重要。德州有些学校和石油行业有很强的connection，可以多看看，找找感觉

感觉LZ需要再多做些homework，看看哪些学位哪些岗位以及哪些人生道路是值得自己去选择的。LZ还年轻，有时候，选择远比努力重要，选择对了事半功倍，选择错了那就呵呵了

Hello there,
Well your goal seems to make sense, and your reasons for studying for an MBA are the good ones. The one big difference is the price - an MBA can cost anywhere from 30-80,000$ per year!!!!! What you can do though, is if you get a good GMAT apply to lower-ranked schools than you can get into on the hopes of getting a scholarship. OR do like everyone else - take loans - and pay back after you graduate slowly (it’s the American way : )

能源行业现在是大大有钱途的，除非你有强烈的愿意要改行到投行金融领域，其他行业也未必有能源行业好了。
想清楚自己毕业之后要做什么，如果要改金融，那么必须MBA了而且差不多就NY那2所试试吧。
如果无所谓干嘛，前16的学校读读吧，出来估计继续能源行业，换个position换个location而已，就当读书休息2年。

能源行业分传统能源和新能源，新能源适合炒作（无贬义）啥的，无论是技术还是运营，和传统能源GAP比较大。传统能源（油气煤电）模式比较固定，受政策啥的影响太大，尤其国内。国际大形势也是起伏不定，如今这石油价格，简直跌的心都碎了，各大公司天天裁员。
从长远来看，作为一个屌丝有点看不穿。不过换个location/function也未尝不是一件好事。
对金融/咨询类的感兴趣主要还是有点想未来回上海工作。家在上海附近，希望能照应着点家里。

I guess, at the end of the day, I would probably choose the american way.
