这里为何用be？funding for... be obtained through...读起来感觉特别怪，我觉得应该用is吧？莫非是虚拟语气bossy verb+that+subject+be? 一直不是很理解这种用法，这种用法有何作用，怎么使用呢？（请不要把曼哈顿的原文贴上来，小菜我看三遍了没看懂TAT）

这题题目里已经把一个重点词大写了：PROPOSED

propose, request, demand, require, order, mandate之类表示命令、要求或者建议的词要是后面跟从句，必须用虚拟语气，虚拟语气的结构就是要求动词必须用原形。所以这个句子就是 The commission PROPOSED that funding be obtained. 如果不习惯这种结构，没事，就在读的时候心里默默在动词原形前面加个should就能完美填充了。注意：只能自己心里默默补should，真实句子中虚拟语气的从句只能用动词原形，前面不能补should，虚拟从句里有should是语法里经典的错误选项。

今天翻阅曼哈顿，我突然有个疑问：之前你说虚拟语气中不能出现should。但是书中if...then句型里then的部分是有should出现的，manhattan中还说：verbs would and should should never go in the if part. 是不是说虚拟语气中只有if...then从句才能用should/would?好像在假设性虚拟（Hypothetical subjunctive）中也可用would吧？

哦，你是把Manhattan的话理解错了哈，他说的if...then句型的then部分可以有should而if句型不能有，是指普通的假设句啊，不是说虚拟语气呢~

比如：If it rains tomorrow, Tom will not go to the park.

而对于虚拟语气的if从句，有3种不一样的句式：

1. 与过去事实相反：
从句：If 主语+had+done
主句：主语+should/would/could/might+have done
2. 与现在事实相反：
从句：If 主语+过去时(Be动词用were)
主句：主语+should/would/could/might+do
3. 与将来事实相反：
从句：if+主语+were to do 主句：主语+should/would/could/might+do
从句：if+主语+did/were 主句：主语+should/would/could/might+do　
从句：if+主语+should+do 主句：主语+should/would/could/might+do

于过去事实相反if从句用had done？过去的故事是用过去式，had这个是规定嘛？

与过去事实相反, if从句必须用过去完成时，注意不是过去式，过去完成时是过去的过去，所以过去完成时had必须要有，如果没有had就变成一般过去式了。

这样。也就是要表达事实相反，用虚拟的时态必须是比原句再过去一个时态是吧~

这种说法不太贴切，因为与将来相反，从句还是用过去式，你就根据我给你的结构记忆就行哈~
