174 every generation of people is different in important ways. How is your generation different from your parents’ generation? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your answer.

In my opinion, there is always a deep generation gap between me and my parents. Sometimes it even influences our routine daily life on various occasions such as the way I dress, books what I choose to read, even what kind of friends I should make. I argue that the most three important ways we are differ are the attitudes we hold toward young one, parents are more frugal than young ones, and young generation are too much relying on internet nowadays.

My parents always tell me that they have had a bad childhood. During that time, they are forced to make a living. Thus , they have a high hope for me and to some extent they hope me to fulfill their unrealized dream. By restricting my regular schedule and talking with my teachers several times in one semester, my parents have controlled all my life. If one day I have a kid, I will inspire him and help him to make his dream come into true. I have my own life, career, and dreams and I will never put my unrealized dreams onto the child.

My mother will spend a unbearable long time on comparing two commodities in supermarket. Sometimes even though she likes that shirt to death, she still insists not to buy it because of the high price. On the contrary, I haste to waste too much time on such kind of things. I will buy that skirt rather than regret about it when we get back. My parents deem that I am squandering the money and I think that they are wasting time.

After schooling, the first thing I will do is to check my email. I have to admit that I am kind of indulged in the net. I like surfing on the net very much and making friends on the net. By comparison, my parents seldom use computer and say nothing of internet. Through the internet, I read the news that tsunami is threatening the Indian Ocean. By the email, I speed the pace of communication with the professor in the university and save time. Our generation depends on the internet heavily.

All in all, although there are many different ways between two generations, I still love my parents. Thanks to these colorful differences, we can understand each other better and love more.

Sometimes it even influences our routine daily life on various occasions such as the way I dress, books what I choose to read, (books that I choose to read) even what kind of friends I should make. I argue (argue is not the right word to express) that the most three important (three most important) ways we are differ (different) are the attitudes we hold toward young one (ones), parents are more frugal than young ones, and young generation (generations) are too much relying on internet nowadays.
