旅游管理硕士学位，专业旅游规划，申请phd，新手上路！

刚刚硕士毕业，一直从事旅游规划的实践，目前供职于一家景区管理公司。有这个想法，但是还没有行动。好像很少有旅游管理的申请phd的。不知道坛子里面有没有人也和我一个志向，或者说是有认识已经申请成功的人，大家来帮帮忙吧！！多谢多谢了！

问题1：申请USA和CANADA的和申请欧洲的比较起来，那边容易一些？

问题2：申请需要GRE吗？光有toefl可以吗？

问题3：是直接和导师联系，还是找相关的学校联系就可以了？？

vivichy, in regard to your questions, I may give your the followings:

1. If the money is out of your concern, UK university is definitely easier to get in than US or CA university.

2. For most of PhD programs of the world, the GRE/GMAT is required while UK is a exemption.

3. It is difficult to answer your third question because it really depends on the professor, you and the school. Anyway, I suggest you to contact the program scretary first.

Please be in mind that I dont say UK university is a better choice than US or CA one, although it recruits more PhD, normally, than US and CA, doesnt require GRE/GMAT in most instance. Anyway, you may prepare to self-fund my living costs, even tuition.
