各位哥哥姐姐们，帮忙看几个新GRE填空题吧，小弟真心看不懂啊。谢过大家先！

这个我选A，答案是E，为什么呢？是因为后面的controversial导致具有思考性吗？

第一题，如果单纯根据句子的逻辑来判断，前面是是说不会表达出对她的不满，那么后面应该是要选一个反义重复的褒义词，所以只能选thoughtful。你应该是弄混了这两个结构 A is as adj as B 这是说A和B是一样adj 的。 A is as adj1 as B is adj2 这个结构是说就像Badj2 一样 A 是adj2 的题目中的意思其实就是说本身这个话题就是具有争议性的，她的观点其实也是是深刻的，所以大家即便是不同意但是也不会公开的表现出来（暗含的意思就是，这个话题是具有争议的，谁也不知道谁对谁错）

第二题，后面说by failing to realize it resembles death 意思就是没有意识到它是不好的（是贬义），那么前面也就是说认为他是好的。褒义词只能选applaud

第三题和gurantee 的同义重复，extension 一般老说在法律里面扩展权利就是用的extend这个词，你选的谴责肯定不对，这是个反向的词啊

我来接着斑竹回答第四题，

前面一句话是对总统负评价，后面nontheless 转折也既要正面的评价，但这个正面的评价里面又有一个否定词not，所以前面得空也应该填一个负评价的词，只剩下bd，而人们如果是indifferent 的话，前面就不会多总统怀疑了，只能选uneasy

第5题 Lizzie was a brave woman who could dare to incur a great danger for an
adequate _____.
为了什么去承担危险？前面又说了她是个勇敢的人。肯定是为了一个好的目标才。不会是为了战斗才去承担危险的吧

这个我选A，答案是E，为什么呢？是因为后面的controversial导致具有思考性吗？

1. 空格填入一个形容词，描述 positions 的性质。

2. for 表示原因，因此前后句意应该同向。前句说“即使是不同意 C 的观点的人，也很少指责 C 表达她的观点”，因此 C 的观点应该有正评价的性质。
3. 选项中 ABD 都是中性词，C 偏负向，E 周全的周到的是褒义词，因此拍死 ABCD, 选 E.

句意：
即使那些不同意 C 的观点的人也很少指责 C 表达她的观点，因为就像他们对此争论不休一样，她的观点是周全的（能自圆其说）。
