想从事strategy planing,该怎么做？拿不准自己的想法是否可行

我的工作经历为：
working experience(full time): 9 years (3 years: technician,state-owned manufacturing company
                                                                                                                                                                6 years: sales manager,logistics company ranked around top 15 worldwide)
undergraduate:Finance

我想在MBA后从事战略方面的工作，但不知道怎样设定CAREER GOAL比较可行,我的想法有

1，选择LOGISTICS作为MBA选修的方向，出来后在物流业做PROJECT，然后做物流企业的STRATEGY
2，直接把STRATEGY/GENERAL MANAGEMENT作为MBA的方向，毕业后直接找STRATEGY的工作

我想针对不同的学校特点，分别用以上两种途径。但不知道到底是不是reasonable.请XDJM给我点意见，不甚感激！

believe it or not, strategy is so-called "high-end" MBA while logistics relatively lower end. (means no offense to logistics guys). There are only a few schools who claim themselves as logistics oriented (MSU for instance). But almost every school in US claims they have good strategy program. In reality, only top 20 MBA provides meaningful strategy programs.(of course, someone may argue it should be top 30, but let us settle for some traditional thinking here)

So really it is up to your qualification, if you are aiming anything within top 20, Strategy should be something you put on your application. If you are thinking schools outside of top20, particularly MSU, you should use Logistics on your application.

我觉得victorliao你的工作背景已经够了。MBA会对你往strategy planning方面发展有很大的帮助。即使你以前没有这方面的工作经验，但夏天实习的机会中有很多strategy planning的机会。

我很同意飞雪的说法关于SCM,Operation的不可分清。但很多美国的公司在招MBA时还是区分学校的。比如Michigan的operation就很强，我想飞雪一定很清楚。我是MSU的，来招人的公司还是侧重点在SCM上，如果是关于operation的职位，他们一定会先去UM。
