TPO的练习

It the term of how Chaco structures were
used, the speaking and the reading are opposed to each other.
First of all, even though the readingarticle contends that the massive stone buildings could probably be used asresidences according to their outside appearances resembling to the oldresidence style in Taos, the professor in the lecture disputes that the interiorspaces drastically challenge the statement. To be more specific, if thebuildings were purely residential, there should be large amount of fire placesfor the local families to cook. However, in the biggest room of the Chacostructure, it only has 10 fire places attaching to the numerous other roomswhich could supply for more than 100 families.
Furthermore, contrary to the belief in thereading part that the structure could be used to store food supplies, theprofessor proclaims that there is no trace could support this hypothesis. Thisis because that the scientists did not find out any scattered maize and themaize containers on the floor. It is apparently that the theory of food storageis unreasonable.

In addition, the professor asserts that thePueblo Alto could totally be a construction trash mound, whereas the readingpassage indicates that the building could be a ceremony place based on thefestive materials which were left in nearby mount. The professor supports hisstandpoint by providing the evidence that the deposits are consist of lots ofconstruction trash. Besides, the pots in the sediments could be used forcooking by the constructive workers.

The reading material and the listeningmaterial have a controversial discussion about whether dinosaurs areendotherms.
The reading material points out that dinosaurs were endotherms because they could survive in polar regions, where dinosaur fossils have been found. On the contrary, some professors don’t agree with the idea, becausepolar region in the period that dinosaurs inhabited in was much warmer than now. Also, dinosaurs could have migrated to other warm places to overcome the cold weather.
Dinosaurs' legs underneath the body whichreferred in the article could not improve dinosaur are endotherms. This physicalfeature only contributes to bear more weight. Dinosaurs' big size is involved with this body structure.
Haversian canals are regarded as the feature of endotherms in the readingmaterial, but the professor argues that, dinosaurs had not only Haversiancanals which allow the living animal to grow quickly, but also growth ring thatindicate the periodic growth of dinosaurs thatwere impacted by temperature. This growth ring isstrong evidence to prove dinosaurs are not endotherms.

是用模版比较好呢,还是不用比较好呢?我自己觉得模版第一句话好奇怪,好长,而且很呆板。
