这题的题目本身有点问题，划线的部分跟A选项不一致
答案为B
我看了之前的讨论，说A的问题是both...and...连接的内容不一致，请问这个不一致体现在哪里？
还有，之前的讨论说reflect前面省略掉了that,导致这个修饰flat earnings的定语从句不容易被看出。所以后面的句子中应该有谓语，B中的are keeping给出了谓语。但是如果are keeping是主句的谓语的话，那么and后面的那个to which extent ...的定语从句岂不是不完整了么？

A中的搭配错了吧搭配是extent to 好像没有extent of 的用法
reflect是主句的动词 are keeping 是which从句的动词

1) each of   复数名词 + verb,谓语动词用单数
2)   习惯用语:the extent of sth 或者to …extent,   表示…的范围
3)   习惯用语:the degree to sth 或者to…degree,   表示…的程度
4)   同一句子中，连词连接的对象一定要平行

恩读了N遍这个句子终于明白了are keeping是从句的谓语那主句的谓语应该还是reflect吧

但是A中为什么不可以直接将keeping理解成rates 的一个修饰语表示rates的一个发生动作呢？这样不是更简洁吗？
