答案是C active。 但是结构上我觉得有点问题，如果这是状语从句的省略，是不是要加上althogh，though之类的连词？

我也觉得不太明白,为什么前面不用加连词, 如果是形容词做状语总归有个什么形式的省略把, 我记得which is +形容词 which is  是可以省略的,但状语从句前的although it is可以全部省略吗? 在这句话里到底是状语形式的省略还是其他的?能否具体解释以下,谢谢!
