Hi, my friend! Thanks for your question. As you probably know, finance and accounting are totally different fields thatcan lead to different career paths. If you are interested in accounting, getting your CPA is definitely the right path to follow. In order to take the CPA, you need enough credits from school, so you may need to pursue a master’s degree in this area first. This is actually how you plan your education and career path, and if accounting is what you love, this is the way to go. Finance is another popular industry. However, the reality is that this market is oversaturated; therefore, it is extremely competitive. If you are not incredibly passionate about it, I would suggest you stick with accounting. But if finance is what you absolutely love, by all means pursue that dream! Hope this helps!
