Should company use public recognition to reward hard working, not to use money

For centuries, companies search for the best way to reward their diligent employees, and bonus, welfare, and promotion are among the choices. However, public recognition, a new kind of reward, is attracting the attention of an increasing number of employers. Unlike money and welfare, public recognition is a representative of spiritual encouragement, which was easily neglected by companies in the past. There are obviously some advantages of spiritual reward over money.
To begin with, public recognition is a terrific way to show the company’s specific care about one employee, as well as a good way to improve one’s satisfaction and loyalty. As a basic need of human beings, recognition and compliment are to workers what sunshine is to trees. If a company uses public recognition to reward hard working people, it is telling the public that those people are of considerable significance and that the company is proud of them. For example, I still remember how disappointed I was when I got the bonus in my first employed year but was not nominated “the best new employee”. In this sense, public recognition can make employees feel more satisfied and thus become more loyal to the company.
Secondly, public recognition can contribute to self-promotion. Money at most times represents payment, merely for what people have done, while public recognition also shows the confidence that they will make more contributions to the company in the future. By being encouraged spiritually, employees can not only work harder, but also think more about their future career path. Afterwards, they can dig their potential to fulfill their plans. That is how public recognition works.
Thirdly, why should a company pay extra money for employees when that amount of money can be easily saved without reducing the reward effect?
Admittedly, there are still some prerequisites for a company to implement this measure. For instance, the company should be big enough and the employees should be mainly satisfied with their salaries. Otherwise public recognition reward may not play as important a role as money does.
In summary, public recognition can contribute to satisfaction and self-promotion of employees, as well as save companies’ money. More importantly, it is a wholly novel idea which has not be used pervasively. Thus, it can help a company make a difference from others and reveal how special it is to an employee.

For example, I still remember how disappointed I was when I got the bonus in my first employed year but was not nominated “the best new employee”. (你这个例子语言用的很好,一句话直击重点很有力量,可是我感觉你这个例子并不能让你得出后面这一句的结论,你想想看:你没有得到public recognition你很失望就一定能证明public recognition让人satisfied的结论吗?所以我的感觉是你这个例子可以正着举出来更有说服力,就是说你不是被奖励钱而是被奖励the best employee 时的兴奋和motivated 再或者是你用两个人对比一个人奖励钱disappointed一个人奖励the best new employee motivatedIn this sense, public recognition can make employees feel more satisfied and thus become more loyal to the company.
Secondly, public recognition can contribute to self-promotion. Money at most times represents payment, merely for what people have done, while public recognition also shows the confidence that they will make more contributions to the company in the future. By being (我觉得这个by being不要更好一些,显得有些awkward ,不知道bet 这样用有没有什么别的意思) encouraged spiritually, employees can not only work harder, but also think more about their future career path. Afterwards, they can dig their potential to fulfill their plans.(这里可以用个例子支持一下就更好了)That is how public recognition works.

For instance, the company should be big enough and the employees should be mainly satisfied with their salaries. Otherwise public recognition reward may not play as important a role as money does.(一般我看别人的admittedly之后都是想办法找角度把money应用的那些场合给否定掉,而不是承认就该用钱reward。这个题目比较难写确实不好找哈)
In summary, public recognition can contribute to satisfaction and self-promotion of employees, as well as save companies’ money. More importantly, it is a wholly novel idea which has not be used pervasively. Thus, it can help a company make a difference from others and reveal how special it is to an employee.

很羡慕你的语言,你的句子丰富多彩,想高亮结果发现太多了。有一些词组其实你用了很多次,例如contribute to , 找一些同义词多换着用就行~~~我没木有写呢,希望写的时候不要受到你的影响

Most people can solve the important problem in their lives by themselves or help from their families; help from the government is often not necessary.

Whether the government is playing an important role in solving important problems in people’s lives has aroused considerable controversy. Opinions vary since people usually have different definitions about important problems in life. As far as I am concerned, problems concerning health always take priority, and then come issues with families and friends. Besides, jobs generally correlate with people’s economic status and unveil their significance gradually in one’s life. However, the government can efficiently help with none of the problems above. What the government does is merely cleaning up the mess when things have developed into total disasters that we do not expect.

In the first place, health is so vital that it is the prerequisite of all activities of a living person, and health condition is often closely linked to one’s lifestyle, which has nothing to do with the government. If an office worker chooses to spend a whole weekend sitting on the couch rather than going to the gym, the government cannot just force him to change his schedule. Likewise, the government cannot force a young woman to go back home to sleep when she is still hanging out with her friends at a bar at midnight. Instead, we all should cherish our health and adopt healthy lifestyle choices, since if once we get some serious diseases, we have to count on ourselves and fight this war with own body and mind. Although sometimes the government can provide residents health care insurance, the money cannot ensure everything a patient expects, such as a recovery or a medical miracle.

In the second place, the government cannot help with some private issues about relationships or families. Will a couple go to the City Hall for help after a big fight? Or is there anything for the government to do to narrow the generation gaps in a family? Obviously, the answer is no. On the contrary, the couple should calm down and have a heart-to-heart talk, thinking more about their character problems or the mistakes they have made. Meanwhile, the family members should unload their defense and try to know more about each other. If the government has to intervene, it means that they are involved into really severe problems like a divorce or a teenager crime. And finally, they have to solve those problems by themselves.

To sum up, when it comes to important problems related to health, relationships, and family in people’s life, we should not rest our hope on the government. Indeed, we had better hope the government will not become part of them, because before we go to a dead end road, we should take the chances and solve the problems by ourselves or with the help of our families.

Therefore I strongly spport the view that ...)

In the first place, health is so vital that it is the prerequisite of all activities of a living person, and health condition is often closely linked to one’s lifestyle, which has nothing to do with the government. (观点真的是非常的新颖啊~~入题再快点就更好了,例如:Gvernment can only influence but never decide one's lifestyle no matter it is good or not.)If an office worker chooses to spend a whole weekend sitting on the couch rather than going to the gym, the government cannot just force him to change his schedule. Likewise, the government cannot force a young woman to go back home to sleep when she is still hanging out with her friends at a bar at midnight. 写的很好哦~~继续加油吧~~

People can learn more from watching television than by reading books.

In this day and age, television, once called the greatest invention in the 20th century, is playing a more and more important role in our daily life. Because of televisions, we can watch movies at home and turn a living room into a mini cinema. Also, thanks to televisions, we can watch news with lively scenes rather than just read the words on a newspaper. However, when it comes to learning, books are always the best media which televisions can never compete. Here are some reasons:
To begin with, books are the best teaching tools ever, since the content in them is carefully examined to help people learn. Unlike television, which was mainly invented for entertainment, books are born to teach and their teaching mission never fades since the civilization of human beings rose. In order to teach without misleading readers, a book will be revised for several times by different people before its publication and its author can take the responsibility for what he has written. Even if there are some errors in a book, they will probably be corrected in the next edition. Thus, books are the authority of our academic study. If we want to collect information or do research, books always become perfect references. Nevertheless, television programs have far lower level of reliability and we can never use it as references.
Moreover, books give us the opportunity to ruminate and memorize. Actually, when we decide to read a book, we often choose a peaceful place like the library, where we can get concentrated and prepare for the learning. Then, if we come across some difficulties during the reading, we can pause at any time, do some review, ruminate the most confusing part, and even take down some notes. Obviously, after those procedures, puzzles and knowledge will become part of our memory and be locked in our brains. For example, I still remember the beautiful sentences I once wrote down while reading a literature books during high school. With the help of those notes, I have learned how to write great articles in Chinese. On the contrary, when watching television, we may just want to relax. Even though we watch some educational programs, they merely flash across and leave us no time to digest.
As an old Chinese saying says:“it is always beneficial to open a book.” Compared to televisions, books have so many natures conductive for us to learn that they should be the best teachers in our daily life.

寂静写作
Colleges and universities should offer a better job preparation before they start working.

In this day and age, finding a job is getting harder and harder, especially for the newly graduated college students. According to the latest statistics from Chinese Education Department, only 24% of the bachelor graduates of the year 2012 could find a job that lasts more than 3 months immediately after their graduation, while 48% of them could find a job but got fired less than 3 month. Why so many university students, who have been educated for more than 15 years and are supposed to have the privilege in employment, confront such a frustration that everyone has not expected? As far as I am concerned, it is the college and universities that should be blamed. If they had offered students better job preparation before they start working, this problem could be solved much more easily.

To begin with, job preparation for college students can get them some real world experience, thus making them more competitive in the labor market. Indeed, I have interviewed some recruiters from big companies on what they care most about candidates, and the answer was neither education background nor intelligence, but rather experience. If the candidate has previous experience, he knows what exactly he is going to do, so he can undertake this job right away. All he needs is a little adjustment. Besides, the employer can save lots of money from training. Therefore, if colleges and university can provide students intern opportunities or find them some practical projects, students can get valuable experience and earn the edges they need before working.

Furthermore, job preparation during college can help students find the right path to their future career. If a student knows more about what his job will be like and what he is going to do at work, he can figure out whether his major is a right choice. Subsequently, he can set specific goals towards the future job and make detailed plans, which will benefit him in both academic performance and future career. Unfortunately, universities and colleges in China nowadays do not pay enough attention on job preparation. As a result, many bachelors choose to have further study in order to change their majors when they cannot find an ideal job after graduation, not to mention only less than 30% graduates are doing jobs concerning their majors.

In summary, when students starting finding jobs, there is always a considerable gap between what they picture in mind and the reality, since they are not well prepared as they thought. Thus, to better help students overcome those adversities, universities and colleges should take the responsibility of job preparation.
