It's not mandartory to enclose a business card or print the recommendation letter on company letterhead. But it will be better if you at least provide some way for the school to check the recommender's position with the previous company. Examples are a phone number of the HR department or a current employee there. And the recommender will need to mention that s/he has left. Schools don't have the resources to check each recommender's background, however, they might do so if they sense something unusual in the letter. |
