请各位多多指教~ Employees who are good at following the instructions of their managers are more valuable to their companies than employees who always try to find new ways or better ways.
“The best way to have a good idea is to have lots of ideas.” Thus, I believe that employees who try new ways or better ways rather than following managers’ instructions are more valuable for the company. First, letting employees have more ideas is a way to increase their creativity and bravery during their work. “When all think alike, then no one is thinking.” The importance of the creativity and bravery can be best explained by the Louisiana Purchase, which was made by Thomas Jefferson’s own decision. Many people might have avoided such a purchase because of its high risk and inaccuracy, but Jefferson chose another way-accept France’s request, after well thoughts. The purchase was surely a success, and what we can see is that one should find a way himself rather than sheer following others’ ideas, also, finding other ways requires creativity-the acceptance of an unasked land purchase, and bravery-to buy a large land using relatively less money. In conclusion, employees’ creativity and bravery in making decisions and working can be inspired if the company encourages them, and would create great benefit to the company. Second, hiring more employees who are innovative could also influences others, which would be a benign circle inspiring more people to become origin and decisive. I can give one example to explain the power of others’ influences-a group of students in my class enjoy discussing with others and always list more ways to solve a homework problem. Influencing by them, everyone in my class gradually starts to think independently and originally. Consequently, not only the average score of my class increased, the benign atmosphere of discussion and creative thinking was also formed. Analogy to the staff in a company, positive influences resulted from those employees who hold new ideas can cause a innovative atmosphere to form. As creativity and bravery can be significantly beneficial to the company, having employees holding novel ideas is surely a wise choice. However, it shall be pointed out that following managers’ instructions is sometimes needed. For instance, employees still need help when they first enter the company when they are unfamiliar with the tasks, regulations etc. they also need instructions when they aren’t adept in such required skills. However, these helps don’t mean the blind obey to managers’ instructions at all times; they are only needed when employees have to get acquainted with the new working environment. The company still needs employees with creative thinking abilities. To sum up, although employees need instructions from managers when they initially enter the company, I believe as the time passes by, they no longer require that. Obviously, employees who can think of more and better ways weigh more for a company who needs elites to promote its development. These decisive, creative and influential employees can surely contribute greatly to the company. |
