People are now easier to become educated than in the past?
The education is become mrmr impo Pop deà competition deà mr idle source Technology developing, easier to get education

With the advent of the technologically advanced society, education is undergoing a huge boost and has become the catalyst of the success. The issue whether people are easier to get education is varied from person to person. Is it more convenient for people to procure the knowledge? From my perspective, it is definitely true that it is much easier to be educated at present. First and foremost, with the competition of the market of human resource becoming more and morefiecrce(fierce),it is never too much to emphasize the importance of education. A statistics conducted by the department of sociology in PeKing University illustrates that 80% people who have a solid job with a month salary above 3000 has a Bacholer’s(Bachelor’s) Degree or higher, compared with only 40% who do not have, that is to say, companies are on the way to care of the degree an application has and regard the certification as a kind of necessity to judge a person’s ability. Therefore, it is wise for students who wish to have a better life to take the education into account. What’s more, the decrease population in some region is a factor of great importance. Since the number of entrants becomes smaller, there will be more idle education sources and there is no denying that the chances to be educated are enhanced per capita. The situation in my hometown Shanghai is a good case in point. In the recent years, the total of students taking part in the university entrance test(university entrance examination) has kept decreasing because of the decreasing birthrate, the consequence of which is that we are more likely to be admitted to schools. Last but not least, with the developing technology, we have more access to knowledge as if the science and technology has created a bridge for us to get the information. I can not think of a better illustration than an example of mine. In the last summer vacation, I downloaded Harvard’s opening class on Happiness, which is about the psychology and teaches us how to become happier. The wonderful videos, especially the interesting contents and humorous professor Tal, left me a profound impression. The online classes not only provide me a chance to join in the class of the greatest university in the world, but also conveyed me a lot of really practical wisdom, on which I’m sure I can depend when in adversity. Therefore, due to the above metioned(mentioned) reasons, which sometimes correlate each other to form a organic whole and thus become more persuasive than any single one of them, I reinforce my standpoint that it’s really convenient for us to receive education.(443)
Professor spend more time doing research or educating students?
Professor’s duty teach Students can give some useful ideas While professor should also spend time doing research 15:30-16:20-16:28
In the recent several decades, science and technology has been undergoing a huge boost and the importance of research has become more and more vital to the development of the whole country. Now people are attaching more concern on the topic that where professor should allocate most of their time, on research or on teaching. Some people believe that as a professor, it is natural to focus on research. But, from my perspective, it will be better for professors to spend their precious time on teaching. First and foremost, the duty of a professor is to teach students to master the knowledge in the related field rather than harness theknowledge in research. There is no denying that professor can do some research, as Einstein, a professor in Princeton, uncovered the mystery of the universial and published the relativity theory after some researches which improve the development of the world. But research can never be the cause of not concentrating on teaching. It will be unfair for students who have paid but not get the enough return. Imagine that, when you paid the luxurious coat for 100 dollars, but only receive a cheap shirt, will you accept that? What’s more, during the process of teaching and learning, professor can also learn a lot in the classroom or when answering students’ questions. It is definitely true that teaching is mutually beneficial for professor himself and students. A professor in my university is a good case in point. The professors was committed into a sophisticated research on physics but was frustrated by some difficulties so that he could not get any clue or solution to cope with. At last, the problem was solved not by professors, but by one of his students. It was in a experiment that the student told the professor his problems. When helping to solve the problem, the professor also be enlighted by these answers and with which the professor successfully finished the research. Admittedly, in a sense, spending most of time on teaching has its undeniable merits. For instance, teaching will cost the professor a lot of time and energy and may even break the coherence of the research since professors can not focus on research and have to prepare for the content of the classes. While it is necessary for professor to consider some question for a long time without disturbance. However, considering the issue as whole, the merits of teaching will overshadow the drawbacks. And compared with responsibility and duty, the shortcomings of teaching will pale. In a nutshell, due to the reasons mentioned above, which sometimes correlate with each other to form a organic whole and thus be more persuasive than any single one of them, I reinforce my standpoint that it is beneficial for professor to spend more time engaging in teaching
