At an orientation meeting, the travelers were told that a visa, a landing card, and evidence of inoculation against typhoid fever would be needed by each of them.

B they would need a visa, a landing card, and evidence of their being inoculated against typhoid fever
C they would need evidence of being inoculated against typhoid fever and a visa and landing card
D they would each need a visa, a landing card, and evidence of inoculation against typhoid fever
E they would need visas, landing cards, and evidence of inoculation against typhoid fever for each of them

这道题答案是D
我选的是E，E错在哪？
还有就是each的单复数如何确定？each of+N后面的谓语单复数如何确定？D这里的each后面为什么不是needs？

我的分析
a 选项句子主语在宾语从句中做主语，用主动语态比较好个人觉得这个句子强调need的发出者所以被动罗嗦。
b 选项of+being结构也wordy
c 改变句意 typhoid fever and a visa and landing card 三者平行
d 和e的差别在于 1.they would each need 和 they would need 前者后面跟着的名词应该是单数，后者后面跟着的名词应该是复数而 e中evidences没有用复数。2.for each of them放在最后面 them有指代歧义，因为前面有好几个复数名词可以指代。而且for放在后面怪怪的，they would need for each of them 明显不如 they would each need表达简洁。

each 作主语一定用单数，比如 each of things , 但D 选项是 they作主语。

each 作主语一定用单数，比如 each of things , 但D 选项是 they作主语。

E选项前面已经有they了后面还加个for each of them，难道不是多余么？？？我是这么分析的不知道对不对哈
