081. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Technology has made the world
a better place to live. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion
Nowadays, technology influences everyone's life without exception. Although some people state that technology brings us many problems, most of others believe it is making the world a better place to live. For my point of view, I never doubt that technology contributes a lot to our lives. Some of the reasons are stated as follow.
First and foremost, it is just technology that creates the world powerful productive. Without the great technology improvement, we would have to work day by day only for the basic stuff. But actually there are now by far fewer farmers than ever before, and they could provide far more products by contrast. We have many other cases like this, such as the steam engine, the airplane, and the computer. All of them help us lead easy lives, which is hard to imagine provided lacing of technology.
In the second place, technology transfers the old world into a more convenient and colorful one. The most obvious improvement is the transportation system. The large number of advanced cars and airplanes could let us reach any corner of the world with great ease. Isn't it a fascinating thing? Furthermore, every year there are large quantities of attractive movies available, which have already been part of our lives, making the lives pretty colorful. We do need to appreciate the technology for bringing us so much amusement.
Admittedly, technology also has its disadvantages. It brings us so many crowed cities and makes the world filled with noise and pollution. It is hard to lead quiet lives in such a mordentworld. Since every thing has two aspects, considering the overwhelming advantages of technology, I stick to supporting that technology make the world a better place to live.
To summarize, I believe that technology has more advantages than disadvantages, not only because it increases our productive, but also because it makes the world more convenient and interesting. Therefore, I strongly agree that technology makes our lives better.
