被merage 给waitlist 了..

被UCI waitlist了。。

可以发个reply email再讲讲自己的长处推荐一下自己吗？还是说这没有必要

LZ人家拒你就拒你，干嘛还要委婉。上WAITLIST说明学校想要你但又有concern。我也刚被KELLEY给WAITLIST了，正郁闷着呢！

发推荐信是我要再找个人写封recommendation letter是么？就是之前submit了A跟B的，现在把C的也发waitlist email correspond的同时给attach上？

看了些waitlist strategy, 的确是要讲recent accomplishment。而且school visit后更喜欢了。我可不可以做个video讲下personal experience during the interview trip? 有个Wharton的姐们说我这是risky move

within 3 days发correspond可以么，不会太Late吧

通常是 customary to send an essay or letter after getting waitlisted. “Some schools might think that a video is too out of the box. So my suggestion is to make a decision based on your knowledge of the school. If you think it will be well received, then go for it. However, if you do decide to go with a video, it's very important that it is well done. It's a very risky move and could actually hurt your chances. ”

我也觉得可能video弄不好反而弄巧成拙。而且不知道学习的admission office的youtube link会不会被block了

很多professional workplace都打不开youtube
