Hello my friend— Sounds to me like your question, from 1000 miles up anyway, is “what is the difference between MBA applications, and Masters Applications.” And of course it is impossible to generalize in this way. But…we are of course prepared to try. The main difference tends to be in the essays. While masters programs (and undergrad programs also by the way) tend to ask for just ONE essay, MBA programs tend to ask for…3, 4, 5 or more. This means that MBA apps are much trickier to complete of course. And the one masters essay, usually a personal statement, can often be cut and pasted into many different applications. So for example if you are applying to five different Masters of Finance programs, you can likely use your one essay a number of times. MBA applications tend to be…much more work intensive. Hope this answers your question—and good luck to you!
