the Oneida代表的不是一类群体吗？看了prep和Manhattan的解释，说像the American或者the French后的谓语都是复数形式，怎么和我的理解有点儿相悖呢，像这种特定的人群应该怎么判断谓语的形式呢？

这个我懂得，只是借用这道题问一下关于主谓一致的问题，特定人群的总称后都用复数的谓语动词吗？

THE Americans THE French都是复数名词但是the American就是整体了
manhattan说这个the Oneida相当于 THE French the English必须用复数而且是black and white issue..
我觉得 the Oneida也是指代整体理解不了..
