这个我懂得，只是借用这道题问一下关于主谓一致的问题，特定人群的总称后都用复数的谓语动词吗？

THE Americans THE French都是复数名词 但是the American就是整体了
manhattan说这个the Oneida相当于 THE French the English必须用复数 而且是black and white issue..
我觉得 the Oneida也是指代整体 理解不了..
