OG 有关A的解释中说Further more,the dependent clause starting with suggesting maybe construed with either the evidence or the scientists, which makes this version
unnecessarily ambiguous.我觉得错误就在于suggesting 修饰了scientists与原文所要表达的意思不同而OG 的意思是说suggesting要么修饰scientists 要么修饰evidence 含义模糊。。有大神可以解释下吗?非常感谢！！

我看了以前发的帖子，现在貌似有了新的看法，语法上suggesting 就近修饰scientists,而逻辑修饰的应该是evidence所以OG说ambiguous 。不知道这样想是否正确。
另外一点，在没有逗号的情况下，Ing分词语法上就近修饰是明确的rule吧，不管是何种成分 n+ing Ing分词就就近修饰，没错吧？

没有逗号的情况下，放在名词后面是修饰名词；如果有逗号，且置于句尾，那就是表伴随状语（句子是主谓宾结构）或者表补语（句子是主系表结构）参考OG13 第79题就是补语

我对语法的专业术语不是很清楚，你这里所提及的补语我不是很清晰，我就觉得OG13 79中 informing 修饰的是主语knowledge 你看是不是正确？
Ryunosuke Akutagawa's knowledge of the literatures of Europe, China, and that of Japan were instrumental in his development as a writer, informing his literary style as much as the content of his fiction.

(A)that of Japan were instrumentalin his development as a writer, informing his literary style as much as

(B)that of Japan was instrumental in his development as a writer, and it informed both his literary style as well as

(C)Japan was instrumental in his development as a writer, informing both his literary style and

(D)Japan was instrumental in his development

这道题目我都没有想这么多，直接单复数和平行就选出来了啊···考试时候哪有那么多时间去看修饰的谁···
