不知道这么写算不算抄袭或雷同?  能的几分呢?

The following appeared as part of an article in the education section of a Waymarsh city newspaper:
“Throughout the last two decades, those who earned graduate degrees found it very difficult to get jobs teaching their academic specialties at the college level. Those with graduate degrees from Waymarsh University had an especially hard time finding such jobs. But better times are coming in the next decade for all academic job seekers, including those from Waymarsh. Demographic trends indicate that an increasing number of people will be reaching college age over the next 10 years; consequently, we can expect that the job market will improve dramatically for people seeking college-level teaching positions in their fields.”

In this argument, the arthor reaches the conclusion that the job market will improve dramatically for people seeking teaching positions in college. To support his conclusion, he provides evidence that  demographic trends indicate that an increasing number of people will be reaching college age over the next ten years. At first glance, this argument seems somewhat plausible; however, closer scrutiny reveals that the author omits some of the most important information needed to be addressed to substantiate this argument.
In the first place, the author commits the fallacy of all things are equal. Graduates from Waymarsh University may have something in common with other academic job seekers but it does not necessarily mean that they are equal in all aspects. For example, if Waymarsh University is just a newly established one which specilize only in geology, a not so popular subject, then it is reckless to assert that all academic job seekers will expericence a better time as some of those graduates may major in fiance or engeneer, which are both popular subjects.
In the second place, the author faulsly assumes that any one who reaches the college age will get the chance to go college. Therefore, it is gratuitous to use the data concerning the number of people reaching college age to predict the actual number of college students. For example, if Waymarsh happens to be a region with poor economy and education system, then its number of people reaching college age can not precisely indicate its number of future university students. As there could be 1000 people reaching college age, because of lack of money, only 100 of them could finally afford the tuiation. As a result, it is reckless to use this number as a premise for the conlusion that the job market will improbe dramatically for people seeking college-level  teaching positions in their fields.
In summary, the author fails to substantiate his assertion that better times are coming in the next decade ofr all asademic job seekers, because the evidence mentioned in the analysis can not constitute a logical argument. To make the argument more convincing, the author would have to provide more information about Waymarsh University, such as what is its special field. To better assess the argument, we would also need more specific statistics about the number of people actually entering colleges and more detailed information about the status of local economy.
