If you’re considering an MBA or a graduate degree in engineering, the MIT Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) two-year dual-degree program may be a good fit. The program, which integrates business, engineering, and industry, not only offers an MBA and an MS in engineering but also includes a six-month internship at one of LGO’s ~20 partner companies and opportunities for leadership development.
I’m a 2009 Bioengineering grad from NUS and just started my first year at LGO. After graduating from NUS, I worked at Coherent for 4 years. I was planning to get only an MBA until I found the LGO program, which also offered me the opportunity to expand and deepen my engineering skills as well as develop my leadership.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please visit the website: http://lgo.mit.edu/lgo. You can also contact me with questions about the program.
