Hey there!  Let me try to help you—so many of the MBA and MA questions use American-style abbreviations, or jargon.  Thinking outside the box means doing something creative.  Making a decision, for example, that nobody had made before.  Doing something that people didn’t expect, and something that shows that when you make decisions, you are not bound by what everyone around you does, or thinks.  So talk about a time that you did something unexpected, and creative.  That is “outside the box.”  Hope this helps, and good luck!
