以下是引用greenpuma在2006-3-18 23:17:00的发言:than those of any other chief justice in history than those of any other chief justice in history (have) than (have) those of any other chief justice in history I feel that the above 3 sentences mean the same thing. And 'those', a plural pronoun, refers to 'decisions', rather than 'influence'.
同意those是指代decisions
但是没道理说助动词have就可以省啊
比如说 A have had a bigger influence than B have 是正确的
A have had a bigger influence than B 我认为就有问题,因为这好象是拿A的influence和B去比。
而且根据白勇的《语法全解》P108. as 或 than 引导的比较从句中的省略原则3
主句谓语动词短语使用助动词(如have, has, had ,will)或情态动词(can, could, may, should)+ verb形式时,比较从句往往省略verb,保留助动词或情态动词 |
