Columbia推荐信的一个非常奇怪的问题
在填写申请表格时,发现一个问题. 我自己的推荐人,都是写的中文版的,我已经请独立的第三方翻译成英文版本了.但是却发现COLUMBIA有如下特殊的规定,
The people submitting reference letters on your behalf must do so electronically through our application system. You must input the names and contact information for each recommendation provider. Prior to requesting that your recommendation providers complete the recommendation online, be sure to check with them to ensure they have a personal email address and access to the Web.

We will accept mailed paper recommendations ONLY if your recommendation needs to be translated to English. If this is the case, please send your recommender our list of questions found under the Downloadable Forms section. If your recommendation is not written in English, it must be taken to a third party to be translated and notarized. You can contact your embassy for a list of official translators. The recommendations, both the original documents and the translated versions must be sent to our office to the attention of:

如果按照CBS的如上要求,我是不是只能通过邮寄的方式,将中文推荐信和英文推荐信邮寄给学校.同时,我还要请另外的embassy里面的翻译员翻译,而不是采用我请其他人员翻译的方式.另外,CBS还在上面提到了翻译的推荐信要notarized,那找谁去公证啊.这样一来，那我不是要浪费很多时间.

或者我是否可以不告诉学校我的推荐人不懂英文,就请推荐人直接从网上提交翻译后的推荐相信.

就着楼主所问，我也问一个问题，既然是由recommender自己登录系统填写，那申请人是不是就完全看不见都是些什么问题、以及推荐人怎么回答了啊？
