UNLV's hotel major is the second best in USA. The best is cornell, but UNLV located in Las Vegas. Almost all the best hotels in the world are in Las Vegas. You will have chance to get an intership here. But it is hard to find a job if you don't hold greencard in this industry.
I thought U of houston has one of the best in hotel management, since Marriot and Hilton donate several millions every year. Did the ranking change recently?
but in general, hotel management won't land you a great job in US (there are special cases). In terms of jobs in China, I don't know.
