这次申请失败了，想问大家一个问题。

我的GRE是720+800+3.5。这个AW的3.5很严重吗？虽然我上了几个好学校的WL，但最后全是拒信啊。

听到身边和周围3.5拿到TOP 5-offer的，

而且你的G 1520很nice了。

Normally, after you made it through the screening process, your GRE will not be a crucial matter anymore. It will all come down to things such as your research experience, the match between your research interests and the potential adviser's, and whether you have really strong referrences. I actually think your GRE score is perfect enough for a chinese applicant. You probably need to improve your research related aspects in your future application, if you still want to try it all over again.

The same thing happens to a lot of people, including myself. Who knows??? Maybe they think we are overqualified.

Or, there just isn't very good match between our research interests and theirs.
